Admission Process

Full-Time Students

1. Apply

Please submit the completed the Application Form. Once we receive the application form, we will contact you and provide the necessary guidance throughout the application process. When the application process completes, the Admissions Manager of TAHS EI will send you the Acceptance Letter via e-mail and post mail.

Admissions Criteria: 
1. 16 years or older to apply
2. Valid Passport & permanent home address
3. Completed Application with Fee & Deposit
4. Letter of Financial Support
5. Short Consultation

2. Get the I-20

Please submit Financial certification(bank statement which proves the  minimum fund)and/or Affidavit of Financial Support and pay $150 to TAHS EI Registrar for the registration fee and $100 for the express mail fee.

The international student advisor will send you the copy of I-20 by email, and send you the original copy of I-20 by express mail. When you receive the I-20, you should pay SEVIS fee (please read SEVIS Fee Information for instruction), and schedule a visa interview with U.S. consulate or embassy.

3. Visa Interview

You should make an appointment for visa interview as soon as possible after getting the printed Form I-20 and paying the SEVIS fee. You must bring the following documents:

  • Form I-20 issued from TAHS English Institute
  • Form DS-160 confirmation page
  • Passport
  • Two-inch by two-inch photo
  • Receipt for your $160 visa application fee
  • Receipt for your I-901 SEVIS fee

4. Enter U.S.

Please note that you can enter the U.S. with the student visa and I-20 WITHIN 30 DAYS BEFORE the program start date.

Transfer Students (Full-Time)

1. Application Form

Send us the completed TAHS English Institute Application. When you are accepted to our program, we will send you the acceptance letter through email and post mail.

2. Transfer Application

Consult the international student advisor about the transfer-out process. Complete the Transfer Form with the advisor, and send it to us through email or post mail.

Part-Time Students

1. 1:1 Class

We offer intensive 1:1 classes for TOEFL, IELTS, and other English classes which you can greatly improve your skill. Please fill the consultation form. 

2. Group Class

You can also join in the group classes. Even though the group classes are usually scheduled to the 18 hours per week full-time students, you can select the classes you want to take from the current class schedule, and notify us how many hours you want to study every week.
